The Volunteering For All award is a nationwide initiative that recognises and affirms volunteering and charitable work undertaken by young people inside and outside of school. The award celebrates the positive contribution all young people make to the place in which they live and proves that we can all be leaders in the community.
To receive The Volunteering For All Award:
Young people will create a Volunteering For All Charter. This charter highlights the rights and responsibilities of young people regarding volunteering opportunities that take place within the school.
Young people must survey 70% of the entire school through a pre-made online survey. The survey identifies levels of volunteerism, diversity and community engagement. This survey takes an average of five minutes to complete.
Once the challenges are complete, Localise will support young people in preparing the survey findings as together, they will highlight these findings to the school in a special award presentation.
